This past week, while at the Southern Baptist Convention Small Church Conference, I made several new friends. A few of these guys were bloggers and I thought, “well, if THEY can do this . . .” Just kidding guys. I was really challenged at the conference in many ways and at several levels. One of those being (read getting) connected in a 21st century world. As a pastor, the primary reason is to share Christ.
That doesn’t mean this site will be “preachy” although it may be from time to time. But, mainly to make new friends, stay connected with old ones and family scattered across several states. I guess in this day and age, this may be the new front porch.
I hope you drop by from time to time, sit on the swing and go away feeling like you’ve been with a friend for a spell. I’d love to hear your comments as well.
