Hello world!

This past week, while at the Southern Baptist Convention Small Church Conference, I made several new friends. A few of these guys were bloggers and I thought, “well, if THEY can do this . . .” Just kidding guys. I was really challenged at the conference in many ways and at several levels. One of those being (read getting) connected in a 21st century world. As a pastor, the primary reason is to share Christ.

That doesn’t mean this site will be “preachy” although it may be from time to time. But, mainly to make new friends, stay connected with old ones and family scattered across several states. I guess in this day and age, this may be the new front porch.

I hope you drop by from time to time, sit on the swing and go away feeling like you’ve been with a friend for a spell. I’d love to hear your comments as well.

Way to go! Welcome to the world of blogging. I’ll put a link on site announcing
the creation your blog. Hopefully you’ll get some more visits.

Be sure to post at least two or three times a week. Nothing will kill your blog any faster than infrequent posting.

    Hey, Bob!

Congrats on the blog! I am living proof that you don’t have to be INTELLIGENT or WITTY to do this. Keep it up, and I’ll try to remember to actually post once in a while.

It is great to have another brother in blogsphere. I have not been doing this very long myself, but you will find that you develop some great Godly relationships with people while blogging. God bless.
